No Opinions, No Bias, No Expectations follow the market

I have been reviewing my trades again and I see that I have missed many trades because I was expecting the trade to go the other way.  I often review the news and other traders blogs.  What I get from this review is their opinions and expectations.  When I accept these opinions and expectations I become blinded to the possibility of a good trade in the opposite direction.  As is often the case trades go against my expectations and I miss the trade because I can see not it as a possibility. 

For the time being I am going to ignore all the news and determine my trade entries based solely on price action doing my utmost to NOT HAVE EXPECTATIONS of trade movement.  I am going to stop clouding my perception and stop limiting my trades based on the expectations and opinions of others.  

Looks like my new years resolution is to base my trades only on price action being careful to avoid trading during economic calendar releases. Throw your expectations out the window.
